Just as yesterday I was writing about chaos, today I happened to watch this incredibly inspiring talk from Gabrielle Roth, the creator of 5 rhythms. It’s 90min long but 90min well spent.
Gabrielle talks about rhythm as our mother tongue, explains how she came to realise that the body can’t lie and defines chaos as ‘the rhythm of the mind’. So beautiful. This really stayed with me. It is really just inside our minds.
Talking about the heart instead she quotes Jack Kerouac saying ‘Heart is the Holy Spirit blowing through us’.
And one her most well known and fabulous quotes:
Energy moves in waves. Waves moves in patterns. Patterns move in rhythms. A human is just that, energy, waves, patterns rhythms. Nothing more, nothing less. A dance.
